Numbers

Since the time that the chambered-reissues hit the market, I have tried to keep track of them. I have had tremendous help from Dave's, Music Machine, & Wildwood. I originally wanted to track these guitars from Gibson to the dealer, and then to the end customer (unless the customer prefers to remain anonymous).
 
At this point, my notes contain gaps and inconsistencies. The tops may not be the color many would call them, but I am relying upon the information provided by the dealer. I think part of the problem tracking these guitars is that when Dave's and Music Machine stopped being Gibson dealers, their CR guitars on order were split between Wildwood and a Japanese dealer. I have been unable to verify the name of the Japanese dealer, but my best guess is that it is Ikebe-Gakki. They have a few CRs posted on their Web site.

(Who knows about the future? Noboby knows the exact number made except Gibson. They will not release that information to me or the 3 dealers involved)

 

30 of them have limited or no data provided to me. Maybe at Ikebe-Gakki?
